Location of Medhufushi Island Resort
This new resort opened in June 2000 is located in the un-spoilt Meemu Atoll some 40 Minutes by sea plane
(plus 15 minutes by boat) south of Malé airport. The island is 890m in length and 105m in width and the distance
between the airport to the island is 128.7 kilometers.
Accommodation at Medhufushi Island Resort
105 appropriately finished well appointed rooms (thatched roof villas) scattered around the islands, some built partly
over the crystal water of the lagoon. All air conditioned and have ceiling fan and heated desalinated water in the
bathrooms.
44 Beach Villas at Medhufushi Island Resort have king size or twin beds, sofa, hairdryer, satellite tv, direct dial telephone and a timber deck and
part open air bathroom with W.C bathtub and outdoor showers.
