The first and only resort in Faafu Atoll with an underwater world that has hardly been touched by man.

Location of the Filitheyo Island Resort
This new resort was opened on 30th of November 99 and is located in the unspoilt north nilandhe atoll some 35 minutes by the sea plane (plus 10 minutes by boat). South of male's Airport the island is approx. 100m in length and 200m in width and the distance between the airport And the island is 120.7 Kilometres

Accommodation - at the Filitheyo Island Resort
125 appropriately furnished well appointed rooms ( thatched roof villas )scattered around the island. Some built partly over the crystal clear water of the lagoon all air-conditioned and have ceiling fan and heated desalinated water in the bathroom.

84 superior villas are semi-detached and have twin beds of four poster beds, minibar, hairdryer, satellite Tv , direct dial telephone and a timber deck and part open air bathroom with W.C and outdoor Showers.

10 family villas are detached and have mini bar, hairdryer, satellite TV direct dial telephone with twin beds or one king size bed, sitting area a timber deck and part open air bathroom and with air open shower.

15 deluxe villas at the Filitheyo Island Resort are detached and have minibar, Hairdryer, Satellite TV, Direct telephone with twin beds or one king size bed sitting area a timber deck and part open air bathroom with bathtub and open air showers.

16 Water villas are built on stilt over the crystal clear water of the lagoon. They are detached and each has a king size sitting area, minibar, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct telephone and bathroom with bathtubs W.C and private deck area.
